I cannot believe that their is a group called "Blackeyed Peas" doing a rap number at the Dem Convention, but what else can we expect?

Who cares if a rap group is at the Convention? We'll change our tune when some ex-hippie folk rocker shows up to the RNC.

Anyone know why Kerry nixed a Grateful Dead performance? I'd rather hear a Jerry less Dead than the Blackeyed Peas!
If this is the type of decisions he makes...he can't be trusted!

How about Bush's interesting choice of using Don King, boxing promoter and convicted killer, to get his name out? Now there's an interesting selection.

I've heard a few songs by Blackeyed Peas. They aren't that bad. I wouldn't rush out and buy an album, but I woulnd't change the radio station if they came on either.
I'd rather listen to them then the dead.

Plabonte...on a threadjacked note...
A friend of mine put me on to a band called "Thee Shams". Check 'em out if they come to your area. They're coming to my favorite local hangout(Pentz and HockeyDad know the place...but they had a screamo band that night!)and I'm gonna be there!

get fishbone to play! wooooo hoooooooo!
i used to do an alternative radio show called Ground Zero and opened it up with fishbone's "party at ground zero." that would probably NOT be a good idea these days. :/

Fishbone doesn't tip their hat to one party or the other.
They've been outspoken on Reagan's stance on AIDS, and they've condemned Clinton for not doing anything but getting his d*%k sucked.
See what I mean?

Honesty in politics..a novel Idea...suddenly I like Fishbone. On the other hand can't blame the Blackeyed Peas for playing the DNC...look at the exposure, hell we're talking about them on a cigar forum!!!!!!!!!!
