OK, what's the skinny on Thomas Hinds? Any good? Which would you recommend : the Vintage or the Honduran Selection? Any major flavor differences? The price on these 'gars seems good but I'd like a few well schooled opinions before I put another hurting on the old credit card. Now, I'm not expecting these to be incredibly complex, but a good cheap everyday cigar is something I will always look for!
Thanks for the info!

A good flavored, cheap, everyday cigar would be the La Luna Robusto or Colada. They are excellent, and can usually be 'won' from $15 to $19 a bundle.

For a cigar with a stronger flavor, the Indian Tabac Mistakes are very good.

Thomas Hinds don't do much for me ...

never tried them either, but to add to the previous list. 5Vegas are an excellent low cost smoke, and the Flor del Todo's arent bad for the price. I would try some of the higher rated brands occasionally though to get a taste of a real good cigar and 5 packs are perfect for that and cheaper than retail.

Hi,
New to forum, but been into cigars for a few years. IMHO stay away from the vintage, tight, really hard draw, very inconsistent. The Honduran on the other hand is a good cheap everyday stick with a little kick.

I'm probably creating competition for myself, but I like the Thos. Hinds. When they came out the price was ridiculous (what wasn't?) but at the price that you get them here, I have no complaints.

The TH Vintage is a bad cigar, haven't tried other Hinds cigars. Bought a box of Thomas Hinds Vintage Churchills for $19 or $21 on a Hot Deals board and decided that the price was too much for the cigar! It is not among my recommendations, Try LaLunaLHB! Charlie

Hiya Tony! I bought a 5 pack of the Hondurans not too long ago. They look promising, nice dark glossy wrapper, all 5 were uniform, nice construction. They were very wet. I have smoked 3. First one burned up the middle, maybe still wet. The second smoked okay, not harsh but none of the sweet spiceyness I like. Tasted flat to me. Would not hold much of an ash either. Third same as second. For a buck apiece I don't hate 'em. But I will not be buying more

Thomas Hinds Vintage, I've never tossed a cigar faster and farther. Honest.

I bought a box (Vintage) and still have all but 2 of them. The first one I smoked when I got them. The second was today (about 6 months later) and I tossed it after half the cigar. Any body want make a deal??? I'll even throw in a few Lone Wolfs or Flor de Florez for [email protected]

New poster but have been on board for a few years...ThomHinds are dog rockets...too mild and inconsistent...then again, I like 'em full-bodied. Got one from a "friend"...tossed it right after he left...he came back the next day and said he fed the rest to his trash can and apologized...I game him a Fuente Best Seller for the effort...take care and 5 good cigars to ya...
