I won a box of Legion Churchills after bidding with the idea of trying something new and cheap. That's what I got too. The first one I smoked was just off the plant and not worth the price. Dumb me. I tried another and put it down half way through. I put one aside in the humidor and left the rest in the box. Do they every get better?

Legion cigars are supposed to be horrible, I cannot speak for them, since I have never had one! Charlie

I think that was their marketing strategy; to be horrible. Kind of like, "If you're a REAL man, you can stomach a Legion" I'm pretty sure Don Tomas went for the same marketing campaign with their dogrockets... --wasn't that the ad in a Fall '98 issue of CA? ;)

Thanks to CB for a cheap lesson in pee-u-ee... Some poor guy wasted a whole day making these...However, they might just be the perfect smoke for digging up sewer line.

Aging won't help the Legions. They've been out of production for at least two years. Many of the boxes oozed sap, which accounts for the sticky cello.
