I'm half way through Larry Elder's "The Ten Things You Can't Say In America." I imagine our most liberal brothers and sisters sitting with their eyes scrunched tightly shut, hands over their ears, screaming, "LA-LA-LA-LA-LA, I CAN'T HEAR YOU!!!", but anybody else with an open, free-thinking mind will love it. Loads of practical reasoning backed up with tons of quotes and sources. A real eye-opener.
Here are the chapter titles:
1. Blacks are More Racist than Whites
2. White Condecension is as Bad as Black Racism.
3. The Media Bias--It's Real, It's Widespread, It's Destructive.
4. The Glass Ceiling--Full of Holes.
5. America's Greatest Problem: Not Crime, Racism, or Bad Schools--It's Illegitimacy.
6. There is no Health-Care Crisis.
7. America's Wefare State: The Tyranny of the Statist Quo.
8. Republicans Versus Democrats--Maybe a Dime's Worth of Difference.
9. The War Against Drugs is Vietnam II: We're Losing This One, Too.
10. Gun Control Advocate--Good Guys with Blood on Their Hands.
Includes 19 pages of charts, graphs, and lists, and 21 pages of sources.
Highly, highly recommended.
