Well,
I was having a great night. I had the smoker fired up, a great Pint of stout, if I say so myself, and a IT cameroon Legend Maduro perfecto, in my other. I headed out to check on the smoker. I walk across the deck, headed to the side yard where the smoker is, hit the top step and my bunions were higher than my buns. Fell flat on my back down five wooden steps. I didn't drop the cigar, and I only sloshed a little bit of the beer out of my glass, but my back and shoulder feel like hell, and I know it will be worse tomorrow. This used to not hurt this bad.

ouch indeed! dang!

get out the heating pad and ibuprofen, take a hot bath, and get thee to a (reputable) chiropractor if you're not feeling better in a few days.

i was watching this little toddler at play the other day; he kept falling down, getting up, falling down. i just stared in amazement, like "how do they DO that?!" lol

Yep I was right. It does hurt worse the next day. After further analysis of my injuries, I am going for an xray. My shoulder looks like there is a baseball under the skin, and I can barely move my are, without severe pain. Just called my doctor, and he will be waiting for me, at the hospital. I am hoping that it is just soft tissue, but the swelling in my shoulder worries me. I leave for my first vacation, in 8 or so years, in 5 days. I am hoping I don't spend it in pain. Sitting on the beach, in a cast or sling, isn't what I had in mind. LOL

Ah...the true measure of BOTL,fall down some stairs, not drop his cigar and only spill a little of his drink. BTW,I hope yer back and shoulder gets better soon. X

Ahh the wonders of Modern Medicine. LOL Better Living through Chemestry. LOL OK. My shoulder is fine, at least thats what the xray says. It is all soft tissue. The shoulder pain is from the Muscles, being swollen, too large to get through the process, forget which one it is, in the shoulder. The doctor has given me strict orders, not to move it, and put my arm in a sling, and strapped it to my torso. He said I can try and use it, when the swelling goes down, and my shoulder stops hurting. But the pain pills are working just fine. Though typing one handed is kind of tough. But I guess that's good news, better than I expected.

I hear ya meds are great. I would have taken 1000 mg of ibuprofen before going to bed that night.
