sorry no one else seemed to be interested in auto racing. i have watched some on tv and when my kids were younger, i took them to some drag races in pomona, ca. when i was younger i liked the local sports car rallies with the mid 50's mgs, jags, austin healeys, and triumph tr3's. my mg topped out at 58, and my jag could run redlined at 6000 (120) as long as i had road.

when I was alot younger I liked the F-1 would get up at 4 am on Sundats to watch races. But that was when names like Prost and Senna where there. Nowadays the attrition rate is to great and seems like only 2 or 3 cars are ever running at the end. Give me some good paint-swapping tire rubbing stock cars and I am happy. Todd

If I am going to watch racing, I will opt for Nascar as the "Good Ole Boys" and Rednecks will not only fight for position on the track, they will carry the fight into the pits or a local watering hole afterwards! Nascar is sort of fun! Charlie
