I got home today and read the mail only to find out that my local shop got a shipment of Opus X. 10 boxes of 8 diff. cigars. They limit customers to 2(individuals) a day so everyone gets some. They let me slide out with 4 since I usually just sign my paycheck over to them.LOL I got 1 Reserva 'd chateau(sp)$16, 1 Robusto $14, and 2 Perfection #5's @ $10.75 each. Not bad compared to those overpriced internet sites. Barry

If you enjoy them, That's what counts. I personallty won't go out of my way for them.

For what it's worth they are jacking the price up pretty good. I pay 13.25 for the Reserva De Chateau. It looks like your local store is charging about 3 dollars a stick over MSRP. Fuente supposedly frowns on authorized dealers gouging but it happens all the time. Some Fuente OPUS MSRP #5 $7.50, Petite Lancero $9.50, Robusto $10.50, #4 $8.25, ORV

Sure they mark them up some. At least he's not paying double msrp. and shipping too. My shop has a limit of 1 per box per person but lately hasn't made me sign so I get more. (or what my conscience allows)

Thanks for the input and the MSRP. I see these things on the net selling for $45 and up a stick like it's a "good" deal! Barry

As long as the dealers or tobacconists can sell them for those ridiculous prices that we see here on the boards, they will continue to do so! Supply and Demand folks, simple as that!!!! Fuente Family keeps supply limited and the tobacco shops that get them mark them up to higher prices knowing that the buyers will pay! I will not pay the outlandish prices I see them for but would like to have a box or two of them! A tough situation! Wife would smell them out and know something was up!!! Then she could mount my head on the wall! Charlie
