I bought XXOs at my cigar shop about a year ago and the label said XXO by Toni Borhani (he oversees the Bahia line, which I love). The 5 I received from CB didn't have Toni's name below the XXO, but to the side of the XXO was a little signature of Edward Nikka. What happened, did Toni step aside? The cigars seemed to taste the same from what I remember, but what gives.

Tony doesn't make them anymore. They are made in the same factory, but that's as close to the original's they come.

They are nothing like the originals ...

I absolutely love the old XXO's and I'm slowly working through my last box of Short Beli's luckily I do run across them through trades and box passes from time to time.Haven't tried any of the new blend though.So I couldn't really say personally if it truly is a new blend.
