Their, the Bush administration, Blatent disregard of the constitution, is the main reason that I am holding my nose and voting for Kerry. The Patriot act, as well as their attempt at deception at the first sign of oversite, is why they will not get my vote.

P.S. I have not posted to political posts lately, because I don't have a choice, this election. A fascist or a Liberal???? What happened to the moderate wing of either party????

Choosing the lesser of two evils, eh? I guess that's a fair way to view the election. I just don't see how Kerry is more favorable. I mean, I can see how people can be unhappy with Bush. I just don't understand what makes anyone think Kerry will be any better or even as good. I don't trust Kerry, and there's very good reason for it. We don't know what his plans for the country are. We know he's lied . . . a lot. Hell, that's all he ever does. For every stand he's taken on any issue, he's opposed that same stand in the past. No matter how much Bush bothered me, I just couldn't bring myself to vote for Kerry -- another Democrat, maybe, but not Kerry. He's pathetic.

It IS sad. I've also realized I am voting for the person that disgusts me the least. What concerns me more is the fact that our country becomes more and more divisive each year. It's not a good way to go. I won't point fingers as to who started it and blah blah blah because it doesn't really matter. But I fear for the stability of our nation in the long run because the gaps between ideologies in our country are widening, and the attitudes toward differences of opinion are deteriorating.

ROFL at you guys!! Can anyone say political opportunism?? Here's something from the same article:

"...The new report, issued by the HOUSE GOVERNMENT REFORM COMMITTEE MINORITY, provides an exhaustive critique of executive branch secrecy, from various well-known issues such as the secrecy surrounding the Vice President's Energy..."

(emphasis added)

Cheers,

grond

"The new report, issued by the House Government Reform Committee minority,..."

Gee, I wonder who constitues THAT?

If the Bush administation is secretive, the Kerry administartion would be worse, just from not knowing where they stand no matter WHAT they said!
