Taken a look at their other Rights to vote for the right person in their local precincts? all that has been discussed in the media and on this board is about Bush/Kerry issue's... what about all the other Jacklegs running for Senate and House that may slip through your minds while deadset on the top offices?

Yes Russell,
I have. As a matter
of fact, my yard makes a huge Bipartisan statement. I have signs from both Republican, and Democrats in my yard.

my wife and i do serious "window shopping" about all the candidates that will be on our ballet. we voted awhile back for some of the minor offices locally, and we compared notes on each of the candidates so we could make a very informed decision.

while voting for the prez is a Big Deal, i think that local voting is somewhat of a bigger deal in that the closer to home, the more you'll feel the effects. whether it's for the school board or the state senate, the policies that those folk fight for will effect us just as much (if not more) than the presidential race.

Trying hard here to unseat "Babs" Mikluski from the US senate and replace her with a guy I went to high school with by the name of E.J. Pipkin

We have some very important issues on the ballot here in Oregon. One would eliminate the states accident insurance carrier and allow it to go to bid to outside entities. But the big one is to change the language of the current definition of marriage. This one may get as interesting as when assisted suicide was voted in.

I tend to vote party lines, but I make exceptions. I think last election I voted for the Dems on two different positions.
