April 2nd – The four panels for the sides, top and bottom are blanked out and sized. The back and door will be cut once the casing is jointed so that the final size can be matched (in the event of a “mishap”).
My genuine Craftsmen table saw (whoa) supports the work, and in the back ground can be seen my antique jointer, which is also a Craftsmen but from a different era – a way different era.
The next big decision is how to joint the panels – I just don’t like the idea of mitered edges.
