California cheese is better as it is more of a radical taste with overtures of sharpness and a lingering sensation on the pallat!!!! Charlie

What I find interesting is the market economics of these auctions compared, say to barter and consumer markets. Winning bids create a market price. Whether that price is high or low -- as Rod has pointed out -- is in the eye of the bidder. If you compare on-site winning bids you find as much variation as you find in off-site prices. As my list of losing bids shows, there are a number of Cigarbidders willing to pay a higher price than I'm willing to pay.

Come on Charlie. Everyone knows that Wisconsin Cheese is the best. Just like California has the best wine in the country. Next thing you know you are going to claim you have the best sausage and crakers.

It IS Real Simple. Some One Has To Pay The Bills At C- Bid.Let The Over Bidders Do It.I Have Seen The New Warehouse AT C-Bid And They WILL NOT RUN OUT Any Time Soon. You Can Always Bid On The Next Time It Come Up.
So Be Glad We Have Bidders That Have More Money That Brains Or It Might Not Stay In The Black. Then We All Loose.

Texas has some pretty good wines from grapes grown throughout the Llano Estacado, or Llano uplift, one of the largest, exposed areas of Pre-Cambrian rock in America.

I've never had any wine from Texas. Could you recomend some good ones to try? I like bold reds and my wife likes sweet whites.

Some worthy Texas wines: any Llano but especially the Cabernet Sauvignon (this brand is the house wine of American Airlines)$7-8, and Ste. Genevieve Merlot $7-8 and Texas Red $6-8. You will not be disappointed.

Dead horses, whining, Bob Barker and cheese. Uh, pull over; this thread's all over the road. Let's get back to giving Hog a hard time. Just 'cause you're a newlywed, Hog, doesn't give you immunity from hazing. Ha! (Congratulations!)

I'm with CL welcome back Hog.LOL

Now,I had heard of Texas being like one of the early original wine capitals of the U.S. and while WI's got some good cheese.Sorry Cali, kicks all your A$$'s,big time. What I can't understand,is why ya'll export so many of your liberal local wacko's out here. You'd think you'd want to keep em around,to eat all that Whine and cheese.LOL.....FWIW I'll make it a point to try some Texas wine.
