This morning, I noticed that 4243 people have responded to a poll on CNN on the topic of sexual orientation.

Perhaps it is indicative that I am living in a cave when it comes to knowledge on this subject, but frankly, I was rather surprised that 1 respondent in 5 identified him/her self as something other than hetero and that 1% identified themselves as being asexual ... am I alone in my surprise ???

Here's the figures to date from the poll:
"How would you categorize yourself?"
Heterosexual - 81%
Homosexual - 9%
Bisexual - 6%
Asexual - 4%

CBid should have an 'edit' function so we could correct typos ... that SHOULD read that I was surprised to see that 4% of the respondents identified themselves as being asexual

asexual would be someone who has no sexual orientation or sex drive of ANY kind ... someone who's happy to do without ...

Nothing surprises me anymore. I would be curious to see the poll results from Oregon alone. It would probably just add to my frustration with these tree hugging, armpit hair braiding liberals.
