CHI and Rick, many of the people in Farenheit are suing Moore for misrepresenting their views. He show only the parts of interviews that he wanted, and left out what they thought were the important parts. For instance... if I were to say " I don't agree with everything Bush has done. I think the Patriot Act and tightening the Cuban Embargo were mistakes. But I could NEVER vote for a rabid left-wing traitor like Kerry!" and if you leave out the parts you don't like (a'la Sixty Minutes) it becomes "I don't agree with Bush. I think the Patriot Act and tightening the Cuban Embargo were mistakes. I could vote for Kerry"
Notice, I didn't ADD anything to what I said the first time! I just left a bunch out! Omissions can change the whole meaning of an interview. conduct a three or four hour interview with people and get them worked up in fifteen minutes of it about something they don't like, or place the commentary out of context, and you have Farenheit 911
BTW, Kerry stood rooted where HE was for 45 minutes, and there has been NO proof, but rather refutation that ANYBODY but Air Force One and Air Force fighter/imterceptors were allowed to fly anywhere.
One last thing, listen/read the commentary from as recently as 2003, and you will hear KERRY saying that Iraq posed a very real and present threat to out security and the stability of the Middle-East!
