That when clinton went into the hospital, hillary asked for everyones well wishes and good thoughts. But never said anything about prayers? She was even awkward in her attempt not to mention prayers

And today she comes out stating that she has a strong methodist up bringing

Things are a changing in the democrat party

Any guesses as to why that is?

my daughter in law is a recent born again christian that does not feel it necessary to talk about god and prayers and wear her beliefs on her shirt sleeve to prove she is one of the good people.

"A strong methodist up bringing"!!!??? I guess, if she says so. Well, she WAS a "Goldwater girl" at one time.

Wonder if the Methodist Church is going to use this unsolicited testimonial?

Just like kerry the Catholic. Talk about "religion" and absolutely no relationship. A true believer knows Him personally. I'm not God and I don't claim to know or judge a mans soul but I see what I see. I believe I will see George w. in heaven. At this point in time I can't say that about Kerry or Clinton.

"my daughter in law is a recent born again christian that does not feel it necessary to talk about god and prayers and wear her beliefs on her shirt sleeve to prove she is one of the good people."

But what is wrong with asking for everyones good wishes and prayers during his time of need.
She was determined not to ask for prayers. It seemed planned not to mention it in fear of insulting the liberal left and the 9th circuit court

Just watch how much the liberals start wearing their religion on their sleeves now that they have to re group. It has already started.

And in case you missed the point and you obviously did. It is not about religion it is about gaining power by any means nessecary

Rick,

The Great Commission makes our single most important task as Christians to spread the Gospel and bring the Good News to those who have not heard it. I don't walk down the street with a placard on my back but I do try to show everyone that I am a Christian by the way I live and act.

Cheers,

Some members of our government strive to remove association between Church and State. Many find that prayer mention is taking a religious side. Some religions don't pray for anything and everything.

Maybe she is uncomfortable in order not to offend.

I'm no great fan of Hillary but she's a whole got a heck of a lot more on the ball than her husband.

I admire Dapper Dan and grond for their postings above! I know Dan and would like to know grond, as he seems like a straight shooter!

Hillary is not a straight shooter about anything and will always be a phony...lets hope she never gets in the White House for anything other than to visit a President!

i don't know or care what the great commission is, but the above sentence is the reason for almost every ill in the the world. shut up.

we who have our own beliefs are sick and tired of being put upon in the name of your mythology.

go pray, kill goats, do whatever it takes to fulfill your fantasies, but shut up about it.

don't start another crusade to kill the "non-believers." oops, too late. already started. let's kill every arab in the name of jesus. they will either convert or die.

such arrogance. god will surely strike you dead.

Yo Rick:

You often say how you could care less about religion, yet as soon as someone talks about religion you chime in with your anti-religious crap. How many times are you going to tell us that your daughter in-law doesn't wear her religion on her sleeve,(who cares). Instead of attacking someones religious beliefs you should just the hell up.

Rick,

I could actually care less about what you said. My faith and my God insist that I spread the word. He actually insists that I spread the word without killing anyone. You may not like my message... you may not like me personally (I know you like my cigars), but my right to speak of my religion is a right I am thankful to have. Those Muslim countries of which you speak imprison and execute Muslims who convert to Christianity.

Lastly, I don't insist that every person I meet become a Christian. I simply want them to know what Christ has done in my life. Some listen respectfully... some stomp off... some receive His message... it is their choice. Just as it is your choice to listen or ignore me. Too bad we don't have an ignore button on this BB. You could justignore my posts and never have to listen to me again. Your crass remarks about sacrificing a goat are funny. Since you claim Jewish heritage, you are actually mocking and knocking your own faith. I guess you don't practice what you preach.

Cheers,

grond

You're absolutely right Rick! It HAS started! But to put the record straight, they've been trying to "purify" the middle east of the Jews for decades, and as of 9/11/01, they've started eradicating Americans! What do you say? Maybe we should fight back? No?

I also will NOT shut up about my beliefs... and I do not have a problem sharing them with others about Our God...

I will forever praise him in public or in private or any where I choose to... that is my given rights, I will respect your rights Rick.... but you also need to respect others!!!

I'm sorry your such a sorry ass this past week, but you've got to get off your high horse there is life outside your tunnel vision...

I do think you owe grond an appology for your actions above...
