George Soros came to prominence in the early 90's when he speculated aggressively against Britain's Pound Sterling, saying it was overvalued. The Bank of England was forced to withdraw the currency from the European Exchange Rate Mechanism, and Soros received a windfall estimated at $1.1 Billion in the process.
In an interview with The Washington Post late last year, Soros said that removing Bush from office is the "central focus of my life" and "a matter of life and death" for which he would be willing to sacrifice his entire fortune.
Now that the President has been re-elected, Soros is saying he's going to move into a monestary.
