FOR THE PAST 3 WORKING DAYS I HAVE BEEN IN EMAIL CONTACT WITH ROGER FULKS. I AM A NEW CUSTOMER TO THIS CIGAR SITE AND THOUGHT MAYBE IT WAS WORTH DEALING SOMEONE I DON’T KNOW. WHEN I WON MY FIRST BID I CONTACT CIGARBID VIA MR FOLKS AND ASKED THEM HOW THEY NORMALY SHIPPED THE ITEMS. IN HIS RESPONSE HE STATED THAT HIS COMPANY WAS GOING TO START USING DHL. AT THIS POINT IN TIME I HAD NO PROBLEM. WITH IN A FEW HOURS OF GETTING A REPLY FROM MR FOLKS I FINNALLY GOT AN EMAIL CONFIRMATION OF MY ORDER. TO MY SURPRISE IT WAS BEING SHIPPED USPS AND NOT DHL. YOU SEE I AM IN THE UNITED STATES MARINE CORPS AND WHEN YOU ASK A QUESTIONS AND SOMEBODY GIVES YOU THE OLD FART IN A SACK ANSWERS IT GETS ME A LITTLE FIRED UP. THE ADDRESSE THAT I PROVIDED IS MY WORK ADDRESSE, YOU SEE WHEN EVER I GET NEW CIGARS IN I LIKE TO PASS A FEW OUT TO MY FELLOW MARINES AS A MORAL BUILDER DURING THESE HARD TIMES. CURRENTLY I HAVE HALF OF MY PLT DEPLOYED TO IRAQ AND THE OTHER HALF WANTING TO GO. THINGS ARE SLOW AND WE NORMALLY NEED THINGS TO PASS THE TIME. SO WHAT BETTER WAY THEN TO SMOKE SOME CIGARS? OK ENOUGH OF THAT TO MY DISMAY THE PACKAGE WAS LOST, I PERSONALLY TALKED TO THE POST MASTER AT THE LOCAL POST OFFICE AND HE ENSURED ME THAT THERE WASN’T ANY WAY TO TRACK IT DOWN. WHEN YOU ARE ON A MILITARY INSTALLATION WITH THOUSANDS OF MARINES AND CIVILIANS AND YOUR POST OFFICE IS THE SIZE OF A CLOSET THINGS GET LOST. AFTER I CONFIRMED THAT THE PACKAGE WAS LOST I CONTACT MR FOLKS AGAIN EXPRESSING MY CONCERNS///IN HIS REPLY HE RESPONDED THAT I SHOULD HAVE REQUESTED THAT THE ITEM BE SHIPPED VIA UPS OR DHL, (THIS IS AFTER HE TOLD ME THAT IT WOULD BE SHIPPED DHL) TURNING IT INTO MY FAULT. SO OK I SAID I LOSE 20 BUCKS ON SOME RETARDS MISTAKE FINE. I RESPOND TO MR FOLKS REQUESTING THAT ALL MY SHIPPMENTS BE SENT VIA UPS OR DHL. OK I SHOULD HAVE NO PROBLEM RIGHT WRONG. THE VERY NEXT SHIPMENT IS SENT VIA USPS. NOW I HAVE TWO LOST CIGAR PACKAGES AND I AM OUT 50 BUCKS. SO I AM CALLING IT QUITS. FOR EVERYONE THAT READS THIS MESSAGE PLEASE BE SURE THAT YOU CONSTANTLY HOUND THIS COMPANY FOR YOUR CUSTOMER SERVICE, WHICH IT SEAMS LIKE EVERY COMPANY IN AMERICA DOESN’T CARE ABOUT ANYMORE.

SINCERELY

Jon: Let me be the first to say thank-you for what you are doing for our country. Second, I guarantee you that this will be made right by CBid's customer service. That's just the way they operate. I have never, ever seen a situation that wasn't rectified to the customer's satisfaction by these good people, who btw also honor and respect what you're doing. You should be seeing something here very shortly from Trish, or one of the other fine customer service folks ... I can tell you that you don't have to take it to this forum to get it right.

Sorry to hear you had problems
And thank you for your sevice to our country

I have had cigars ship USPS UPS and just recently DHL
I only ever had a problem with one delivery from UPS in that the cigars came damaged in shipping
But the people at C-Bid were right on the ball in correcting this.
I think if you gave C-bid the benifit of the doubt they would be more than happy to correct the problem.
As for your lost shipments you seem to be blaming C-bid and not the USPS. The govenment agency that lost your packages

Sarge, if you are stationed on Camp Pendleton let me know I will personally bring you a bunch. I have a base sticker and I live in Fallbrook and my sister lives in San clemente. I love driving through especially at night when there is a lot of activity going on. those helicopters flying low over head, not you typical drive through the country.
Cbid left out a large humidor on one of my orders but Jessica made it right. my email is (dandapper at adelphia dot net)
