Jesse Jackson has jumped on another bandwagon. He recently hosted a "Nolan Richardson" day at Operation PUSH here in Chicago. For those of you who do not know, Richardson was recently fired as head Basketball Coach from Arkansas after going on a press conference rampage about a lack of respect for his contributions to College Basketball and Arkansas in general. He dared the admimistration to buy him out(there was a 3 million buyout in his contract) if they didn't like his views and threatened them with protests reminiscent of the civil rights movement in th 60's. He is now contemplating a lawsuit against the U. of Arkansas for racial discrimination and has (I believe) hired Johnnie Cochroach to represent him along with Jesse "I'm Everywhere" Jackson to be his mouthpiece. I wonder what kind of donation Richardson made to any of the many Jesse Jackson charitable causes out of that 3 million buyuot? What is sad is that Richardson was a highly successful basketball coach!

I live near Memphis and saw all this stuff on the local news. I think Richardson may be smoking crack. He was acting loony! He was successful and had a sweet deal at U of A. Then he started going on about racism. He could never explain just what the hell he was talking about. Lots of head shaking around here. I don't think he will get a dime more from the university. Good riddance!

I think the charitable cause is the " J.J.F.F.J.I.C.", which stands for " Jesse Jackson Fund For Jesses' Illegitimate Children". JonR

I think Noland Richardson and Jesse Jackson deserve each other and are both overblown loudmouths who have nothing to contribute to society but only to take what they can lie, cheat and steal for! What a pair of bums! Charlie
