I'm going to be riding a motorcycle around the Great Lakes in June. I'll be heading from PA, up I-81 into Canada. First stop - Cubans. Know any reputable shops in or around Ottawa - then along the entire stretch of 17 in Canada to Thunder Bay?

Take your own cigars.

With the new sin taxes in Canada, the cost/stick for Cubans is extraordinary! Figure $30-40 Canadian per cigar or $19-26 a stick.

Sure...try a Cuban or two, but if you smoke several a day, it is terribly pricey!

You can carry a box of cigars into Canada from the US.

Wow shammill, it sure sounds like Canada is a hard environment for the average cigar smoker! How do you guys up there feel about that "sin" tax scheme of the government's? This seems to be a perfect example of government gone wrong. Price us out of our "bad" habits for our "own good". Thanks NO!
