I've read, and someone else can concur or not, that they don't stamp the boxes with dates because the wrappers are "aged" and thus not specifically dated.

FWIW, that's what I understand about the Maduros.

Tuck -

The box of Secretos that I had came inside of another "sleeve". The sleeve had the date stamp, but the box didn't. So, if you only got the box, it's possible that the date was stamped on the part you didn't get.
