Rick (TTHunter) hit me with these cigars about 2 weeks ago and while I did talk to him over PM, it totally slipped my mind to post this picture.

Thanks again Rick - four of these cigars are ones I've never had, so I'm looking forward to trying them.

Correct, that is a Partagas Cifuentes. It's about the same shade as the DPG Blue, I think the camera got a bit confused by the flare on the table from the flash and things ended up looking a bit darker than they should.

LOL.

It's an old Kodak C533 5MP. It's really only an average camera - very easy to confuse the metering, the image sensor is only average, only 3x zoom, poorly designed flash arrangement and a few small distortion issues. It's main thing was that it has a larger body, so it's easier to hold, uses AA batteries which is really convenient, and it wasn't very expensive. It works as a tool, but not something you can shoot art quality with. Good for stuff like this, ebay/craigslist, photos of BBQs, machinery (ok, the spin dial on/off and settings are very convenient when your hands are filthy and greasy).

That picture is fine. No need to go on how bad the camera is.

Now the picture that Kombat posted with his cigar bands all in a nice frame.

That camera work has something to be desired..

Just sayen
