How does the My Account tab work? Or doesn't it? I'd like to check my open bids and track this week's shipment.

And what qualifies something to be placed into the "Top 10 lots"? Is is the most bid on items?

Once you've signed onto your My Account area, how do you avoid -- over some reasonable time period -- logging back in every time you want to check a bid?

This worked: Sign onto My Account, use banner tabs to check out new lots or visit the Forum, use "back" or pull up "history" to go back to My Account, click view and My Account updates. Neat. Just don't hit Login again, or go so far you can't get back. Kudos on Search. Kewl.

Dear ddelphia, please rethink your handling of the automatic logout. The new system drops the password after adding to the , bidding (I think), etc. This means it's impossible to browse, mark lots and bid efficiently. I give this feature a firm rating of .... (sorry you'll have to login again to see my full text) ..

CB, congrats on the new look site. Haven't yet tried if it works as it use to, but it looks good. Not to different to be all new, but on the other hand, You can't risk of scaring us regulars away. LOL! Good looking job.

I like it! The same basic format I'm used to but with some great added features. The "lot watch list" is cool!

ddelphia, you're probably right about the password entry before bidding in the old system. I was only describing the navigation for completeness. The is a good feature but having to sign in for every entry interrupts the ease of browsing. And, what happened to the display of today's lots in list format? Thanks

Oops ddelphia, I know where the list of lots is but I meant where is the list with current prices so that I can scan them all quickly? Thanks again.

question why do you need to put in your password to add to the watch list? Your not bidding so why the security?

Rating this upgrade on a scale from 1-10, 1 being low and 10 being high I would have to give you a 17.49029 and 1/3. I especially like the new callgirl bidding section now that you are excepting IOU's. JonR

I notice a slower response, compared to the previous CB site, when I try to access a category -- 5-PACKS, BOXES, etc -- button or tab. I visit the site through both dial-up and DSL and, as you would expect, the problem is more apparent with dial-up. However, the FORUM and other site pages load just fine. I visit CB in the evening when lots are closing and during off-hours, when Rick's around. Anyone else notice this?

I have seen the same thing. I use a dial up connection, and it seems to take longer to load anything that I try to look at.

Change is good, I like change. Except when it gets lost in my couch cushions.

Defrag .. it really helps, but LEAVE the 'cookies' ... it a pain in the arse to have to put all your passwords back in everywhere you go ...

Bettr yet ... lose the 'dial-up' and get DSL ... mine rocks!

I got an email from tech that they're aware of the slow response and attribute it to additional graphic content on category pages. They're weighing the trade-offs. We'll see if response picks up. Right now, the site is unusable on my dial-up. Luckily I have a DSL connection to keep up with the bidding.
