WASHINGTON -- President Barack Obama got only one pick wrong on the second full day of the NCAA tournament.

Obama went 15-1 Friday and is 29-3 through the second round after filling out a bracket for ESPN for the third straight year.

Obama correctly predicted two upsets Friday: 10th-seeded Florida State's victory over seventh-seeded Texas A&M, and No. 11 Marquette's win over No. 6 Xavier. His only mistake was picking No. 6 Georgetown to beat No. 11 VCU.

The president is in the 100th percentile on ESPN.com's Tournament Challenge, tied for 492nd out of 5,923,829 submitted brackets. Only 19 brackets correctly selected 31 of the 32 second-round games, and just six of those have all of their final 16 teams remaining.

Fifteen of Obama's final 16 are still alive. Obama selected all four No. 1 seeds to make the Final Four, and Kansas to win it all.

WASHINGTON -- President Barack Obama lost one of his Final Four teams Saturday when Butler upset top-seeded Pittsburgh.

Obama correctly predicted Florida, San Diego State, BYU and Kentucky would advance to the round of 16 after filling out a bracket for ESPN for the third straight year. He was in the 99.8th percentile among 5.9 million brackets filled out on ESPN.com.

Besides missing on Pittsburgh, Obama also lost points when Wisconsin beat Kansas State, and was already sure to lose the Richmond-Louisville game. For that Sweet 16 spot, the president had selected Louisville, which Morehead State beat in the round of 64. Overall, he has picked 34 of 40 games correctly.

Along with Pitt, Obama selected Kansas, Duke, and Ohio State to reach the Final Four, with Kansas to win it all.

All of the brackets on ESPN.com have been wrong on at least two games.

He should be working 24/7/365 and should not have a personal life at all. No President has any business being interested in or watching sports.

Please dont put words in my mouth. Filling out an NCAA bracket is fairly time consuming in my opinion. To fill one out that accurately, you would need an extremely in depth knowledge of the sport requiring many hours of watching games. The Prez is the most important job in the country and i believe should and does require much more sacrifice of personal time moreso than any other job. Hence the reason you get protection and paychecks for life for 4 years of service. That doesnt mean you shouldnt get a vacation or time off or relax with a beer and watch a game though.

All that being said, he may have had some input but he probably had some NCAA Czar who is in charge of putting together his bracket for him do it. Its only taxpayer money after all right?

Maybe.

I heard this entire war thing is just a diversion to take people's attention away from the fact that he filled out a hoops bracket.

I was only being facetious.
