busdaddy - I had the exact same experience with the prc roths, and the added aging has helped them a lot! I currently live in Denver where it's dry as hell so the aging part was easy. Maintaining humidity is much easier with my new coolerdor so I plan on keeping it at 70% in order to keep my individual sticks perfect, and by keeping my boxes closed they automatically have a little lower humidity, which is prime for storage. I would never go below 65% for aging, any lower and you start to lose some of the oils in the cigars. I would make sure your hygrometer is properly calibrated if 70% is requiring constant relights.
