It's been quite a day - topped off with a mid-afternoon data server failure. Regretfully, I was unable to work my usual gonz-magic to recover the data in a timely manner, so we had to revert back to a 2am backup. I apologize for any inconvenience or breaks in the awesome conversation here on the forum. Any questions, shoot an email to [email protected] --or-- [email protected]. - gonz

We are deeply hurt by your carelessness. You may redeem yourself by putting your entire inventory of Fuente SG and Ashton VSG up for bidding.

I have unrecoverable damages due to the downed server. Free cigars would ease the pain. ;)

Yo gonz: I don't think it was a single data server failure I think there were at least two maybe three data servers involved, quite possibly a data server conspiracy. If I were you I would call for an immediate Congressional investigation. In the meantime to keep your mind off your problem you could keep busy by sending me alot of free premium cigars. Glad to be of help. Your Friend JonR

I've been irreparably, mmmm, damaged. To avoid my attorney (doesn't everyone have one nowaday)writing you his typical mean guy letter, send free cgars now to avoid costly expensive law suit. Yeah, that's the ticket!

It doesn't show up as being won or lost ... so what happened to it?

Uh, I wouldn't ask for any free cigars for myself. Could I just have Rick's share?

The only thing worse than someone whining is listening to a real grownup whining about someone whining. My bet is anyone offered free cigars will take them, myself included of coarse.

turdon ... I guess I can't read ...

Attention all CBID'ers - due to a major power outage on May 29, CigarBid site activity was completely suspended from 2am through 11pm. All weekly shipping will be run on Friday, May 31 instead of Thursday, May 30. Additionally, bids placed between 2am and 6pm on Tuesday, May 28 were lost. We deeply apologize for this inconvenience.

Slimboli - I think they added the sentence beginning with "Additionally..." sometime after our posts. I remember reading the message without that comment.

Jon, Make sure you let them sit in you humidor for a while, Email has a tendency to dry them out. Barry
