Yet another post straight from the first left off the turnpike that has no original thought nor commentary to either compliment or denounce the words quoted by others.

Then he'll wonder why we "always put words into his mouth" or "tell him what he's thinking".

It's a nice quote, and I'm fairly certain I know what position you're taking relative to the subject matter. But I've been chastized in the past for making such assumptions.

So do you have an opinion on what you posted? Or do you randomly produce quotes and simply walk away?

BTW, Brewha's post was the funniest friggin post in weeks.
Thanks, dude.

Asimov once described Carl Sagan as one of only two people he ever met whose intellect surpassed his own. Humble dude. Anxious

Good to know.

Socialists are generally anti-intellectuals.

It was Nazi University students that burned books.

It was Russian Marxists that banned unsanctioned literature, writing, and arts.

In fact, in the US where the religious "nuts" reigned, we have had unprecidented intellectual and political freedoms.

So Azimov was mostly right: people like Fuzz are the problem.

Where Azimov is wrong is that often times a person who lays tile for a living can see things much more clear than a university professor. That's because one "thinks" the world works one way, the other experiences the world for what it really is.

Only idiots like Fuzz think that they can circumvent tens-of-thousands of years of static human behavior because they "think" they have a better way.

So, just because you label yourself as an intellectual, doesn't mean you're not ignorant.

I'm extremely puzzled by the fact that a man of your intellectual prowess with such critical thinking skills and penchant for cogent analysis hasn't ascended to some position of power and influence where you could actually effect some actual positive change in our society rather than spending most of your waking hours on this obscure forum engaged in endless pedantic coot offs.
