Are these any good, or are they just a novelty? These are the "Candy-striped" barber pole Connecticut shade wrapper & Dominican maduro wrapper ones that are sold at cigarsinternational.com for $49 a bundle. I bid $31 at cigarbid.com ... and won. has anyone here tried them?

Yep. Won some a couple of months ago. I have had a couple of churchill size a year ago that wasn't bad. The lonsdales came pretty well aged. They were okay for a 1.50/each, but no better. Would not by any more. If you like them, e:mail me ([email protected]) if you like another half box at a good price.

Thanks, BigBubba ... I thought about it, and acted. It was an Egghead/Onsale auction, and it was still waiting transmition to CigarBid, so I was able to cancel it. The ability to cancel is one GREAT feature of that particular auction site (hint, hint) because it gives you a little time to change your mind if you think you've make a mistake. Anyway, thanks for the advice ... you saved me ~$40.
