That was quite an inspiring speech to me, nearly 44 years ago. I'd sure like to hear the same speech by the current resident of the White House.

Then, he could return to his small little pond, in Chicago.

I agree about Lake Michigan.

I was referring to local/state politics vs. national politics. He could get away with his ineptness in Illinois a while longer than he could as President of the United States.
