I was about to take a load of stuff to donate when I saw this among the stash we'd been putting away. Then I remembered people use these for wineadors! Searched through some old threads here and found out what to do. It's now cleaned out and getting ready... got a couple of hygrometers in a salty bag, a load of cat litter, and some spanish cedar on order! Can't wait to stick some things back to age.

I also just won a CBid auction for the Scottsdale end table. It was the biggest one my wife would let me get... we've only been married a month so I still have to listen to her!

Finally I have room to spread out!

EDIT: Stupid mac shows the picture orientated correctly, then goes sideways when I post a thread :\

FYI the kitty litter works just as well, I know several folks, myself included, that use litter pearls. same stuff 1/4 of the price!

I have beads for my humidors, and was about to order more, but all the threads I read recommended just using cat litter.

Looks like one of those cello/no cello issues.

The litter doesn't add odd smells?

Unscented 100% silica so it shouldn't. Some people say you have to "train" them to the appropriate RH, while others say they stay at 68% right out of the box. I'll be testing them before trusting cigars to them.

I started picking them out and said screw it. I think they are just colored for effect.
