My FIRST humidor. Directly from cbid back in '07...Humidor & sticks. I didn't join the forums for another year or so after this picture was taken. I found it on my computer...I was so proud of my stash at that point.

Slippery slope (err..largest cliff in the world)!

Those Gran Habanos are considered to be a cheap ( crap ) stick, but Hambone 71 and I split a 20ct about a month ago off CI, and I have to say for a $2 smoke, they are really good! I would recommend them, especially for a daily smoke if you dont want to burn a high end stick

Nothing wrong with those GH sticks. Don't care for the #1 or the 3S, but the #3 & #5 are nice, especially when I grab them for a buck each. Save my $2 bids for the $5 to $8 stuff, lol.

The GH is not a bad stick at all for the price. Not as much flavor as I would expect from a slightly higher end stick but still a good gar to enjoy on the course or the lake.

Try smoking a Gurkha Ninja... It's literally like smoking a $10 bill. But possibly less flavor if you happened to get that bill from a strip joint or casino.... Ha ha

No thanks, Lancaster. You just summed it up for me. Should be receiving another sampler some time today which includes the Gurkha Centurian Perfecto that you have such a heart on for. Can't wait to try it. Will give it a few weeks in humi though.

You don't need a few weeks in the humi....Just soak them in a vat of water. They won't crack on you that way!

i see the gran habano 3sls(siglo) taking some heat....

i dont know why, especially for the price you can pick them up on here- ill take it all day.
gurkha seems to be a thing of the past for me. i used to smoke them a good bit but inconsistency and cheaply made cause a lot of burn issues and the price isnt worth it to me for most of them.

Agreed. I let mine sit for a couple of weeks first after the were delivered. It made all the difference. Good yad gar...

Just clarifying here...this picture is about 4 years old at this point. Those smokes are all LONG gone. I just thought I'd throw this pic up since someone found my "filled" picture of the cabinet and it made me laugh to think where it started...ya know.

Just think Mike, back then you thought that was a lot of smokes. Must seem pretty funny compared to what you have now.
