I just received an 8oz bag from cigarbid. My wife is a long time coffee drinker; the stronger the better is her motto. I usually make her a 4 shot super grande to send her off to work and she says she can't feel a thing. Well, I made her a 4 shot out of the Fuente Espresso Blend and it kicked her butt. She felt the buzz for a few hours. When I phoned her to see how she liked it, I could tell she was really fired up. Got her attention, for sure. Really nice flavor too!

Try the Cafe Mayorga Sumatran. That'll put some pep in her step, too.

If you're looking for the caffeine 'buzz' you ought to try something my daughter bought at a gas mart. I think they're called red bullets or look like them...she was up until 3 am! I was pissed that she tried an 'energy' drink without asking me...some of these things are dangerous, but she said that this one didn't make her hair stand on end, just couldn't sleep.

Those energy drinks aren't dangerous at all ... unless you are allergic to any of ingredients.

I've been drinking them for years (got started when I was a driver), sometimes three or four a day.

... and I sleep like a baby!

Wow, well all I can say is that my 17 yr old. was wired! I was just concerned with all of the "herbal" warnings that have circulated recently, albiet, herbs have been in use for 1000's of years and I use homepathy remedies when possible! Hey, I'm a mom! I was suggesting to PEBBEA's wife that she may want to try the Red Bullet (not Red Bull) that my daughter tried...

Those 'herbs', like you mentioned, are where we get most of our modern day medicines. The reason the USDA 'warns', is that they can't regulate the dosage ...

If you check the list of each extract in the drink, you will find that out of all, caffeine is among the highest, except for one or two.

There are a few out there that will have another form of herbal stimulant, but not all do. So the buzz you daughter got, was mainly from caffeine; a 6 oz. can is equivalent to about 3 cups of strong coffee.

So ... if you daughter is not an everyday coffee drinker and use to caffeine, one of them could keep her up quite awhile!

I have a pound of Cafe Mayorga and a pound of Cinco Vega...didn't care for either (just not my "cup of tea" I guess) I'd ask you all for a trade but I couldn't take the flaming (that was a hint).
