Typical New Jersey Democrat. It's the votes of folks who think like Fuzz that put these jack butts in power.

It's obvious that you don't know how I think and it's adorable that you think it's Democrats who are the only ones who do crap like this.

You claiming you didn't vote for Lautenberg? Kind of find that hard to believe.

I did vote for him, but just like most elections it's the choice of the lesser of two evils. I wish someone else would have stepped up when the corrupt guy went down.

I'll ask you then. If there is an election where there is a R and a D and the R supports say an anti-smoking bill or indefinate detention, and the D does not. Would you then vote for the Democratic candidate?

There's a more likely chance of Hell freezing over first than what you propose.

lol ThumbDown

Smoking bills introduced by Republicans, well a few. I had to stop searching because, well, I don't want to anymore. There were a lot more hits too.

http://abclocal.go.com/wpvi/story?section=news/local&id=6182465 <---this one is PA where dp is

Pennsylvania - Legislation which calls for a total smoking ban statewide including all restaurants, bars and clubs has passed in a state Senate committee. A strong coalition against the ban includes the National Federation of Independent Business, bowling proprietors plus bar and tavern owners.

http://urbangrounds.com/2011/05/statewide-smoking-ban/ Texas

And this one shows what each state is doing, doesn't matter R or D.

http://www.smokinglobby.com/tobacco-news

And as far as indefinate detention goes, all but 6 R's and 6 D's voted against it. Oh, and my favorite Senator Bernie Sanders did also. So this shows that Democrats are the ones pushing this?

Ahem...the premise was that I would vote for a D over a R not who introduced legislation.

Nice try to deflect though.

At quick glance it appears that the formula is missing the "Couch Modifier".

I will apply for a Federal grant to research it further.

In all seriousness, if this thing happens, it's pretty much farewell to a lot of brick and mortar stores. As much as the flavored cigars get bashed around here, they make up a large percentage of sales.

Just further proof that you only read into folks what you want to. You should know by now that I vote L, and have done so since '96, making your question irrelevant. It's folks like you who vote for a D, just to keep out an R, or those who vote R just to keep out the D, that has given us the fracked up representatives we now have.

I vote principal over party or popularity. You have admitted in this thread that you’ll vote for the lesser of two evils. Instead of voting for the best person, you’ll vote for someone you may have reservations about, just to keep a so called “greater evil” out of office. Yet I’m the one full of sh*t. OK, cookie boy, whatever helps you feel better about yourself.

Yes, I do vote for the lesser of two evils. I have voted third party as a protest vote when the outcome is certain, but I usually don't like throwing my vote away. I'm not ashamed of it at all. I am pissed off when the person I did vote for does something with which I do not agree, but that's just the way things go. There are a lot of things I disagree with that are done by all politicians, but one must choose the one that agrees with your positions the most frequently and has the possibility of being elected.

'cookie boy'? how old are you really?

If "None of the Above" wins, a new election is called with all prior candidates ineligible to run again.

What about a "Running Man" type tv show and the winner gets a chance to run for office instead?
