I've seen these highly rated cigars for sale with the JR Alternatives. Very cheap too! Are they the same?

The "watch dogs" of this forum are going to jump all over you about talking about a competitors product so be warned. With that said here is the information you are seeking. Ults are are made by Villazon. These are the same makers of HdM, Punch and ERDM.

Be careful DAFU, the alternatives are cheap, but not a very good value. I've tried some recently when a friend brought some back from a business trip to NC. I would rate these below average, don't waste your money. However the Ultimates are wonderful cigars and highly recommend them.

Uh, allow me to attempt to steer this thread back on course.... If you're trying Ultimates, and you like maduro, you've GOTTA try the double-maduro wrapper. I go for the smaller ring gauges, still loads of flavor. The larger ring gauges induce hallucinations.

The best JR Ultimate is the Princpale (former JR Ultimate Padron)Maduro (6 x 54). This is a cedar wrapped beauty.

Thanks for the info.I am new to Cigarbid, and this is a great site.If I had known sooner, maybe I wouldn't feel so bad about having paid full price for the Free Cubans I bought from CI a couple of months ago. I'm still waiting and hoping for these though!.....DAFU
