Are you nuts?!?

On the application, you have to enter the name of your buisness as it is legally registered with the Secretary of State, The date you will begin selling tobacco products, the type of business you will be engaged in, i.e. grocery store, newsstand, cigar store, etc., and for a first year licence fee, expect to pay around $250 ... then $50 each year thereafter.

My next question would be ... Why??? Do you realize that on most of the bids that are won here, those folks are paying close to wholesale, if not below wholesale (not including the overbidders) ...

You will probably find that the mark-up that you will save is relatively small compared to the red tape that you will encounter. Depending on what state you live in, the tobacco taxes and sales taxes will need to be considered. The quarterly (monthly in some states) reports with the various gov't entites can be a real pain. If you are thinking about doing this to save a few dollars on your own purchases, I do not think it is worth it. IMHO Good luck and Cheers!
