Face the Nation interviewed him yesterday. He isn't running for President and said that if Romney came knocking, he would listen to his pitch out of respect, but he is almost certain he would decline. He came off a sincere and very straightforward. I wasn't left with the strong impression he'd be running for anything as of now.

Rubio would be the much smarter pick over Paul, although he is not going to appeal to centrists or independents. he will bring the Tea Party to Romney's camp. But, there is also some serious dirt on him here in Florida concerning personal use of the Florida Republican Party's credit card and where he got the money to pay it all back after being exposed. VP candidacy would stir the pott on this big-time and we might not like what we will learn.

He will bring the Tea Party to Romney's camp- but where else would they go otherwise, unless Paul decided to run off the Republican ticket. Unless people want to close their eyes, there is also some serious dirt on him here in Florida concerning personal use of the Florida Republican Party's credit card and where he got the money to pay it all back after being exposed. I guess the question for me would be who is the bigger voting block. Latios or the Paul supporters?

Rubio has said time and again...hell even I've said it here before too!...that he won't consider the VP slot...he said he was elected to do a job and he's going to do it.

As for the rest of your "rumors", get it straight. The issue is from 2007-08. 16k on an American Express card that he has since repaid. The "stickler" was an auto repair that the GOP paid for because an attendent at a GOP function damaged the van...whooo, that's real serious dirt there.

Get real.

As for the poll...why don't they select a candidate BEFORE they select the running-mateThink

Doc , What i mean here is Romney is looking so flakey that he might try a drastic move like this as his only way to secure the nomination..

If Mittens, Neutered or Sanitorium are the choices...it's already GAME OVER.
