The ceremony begins with me dancing about bare-ass nekkid in the south TX scrub brush (#45 sunblock) while listening to Mahler's "Das Lied Von Der Erde", then I shall sacrifice a few Christian infants, and finish up by smoking an Estavan Cruz Corona Gigante Maduro. Good clean fun. And how do you celebrate the Solstice?

Don't worry, I don't travel far for my solstice celebrations ;) I'm from Portland, just across the bay from CC. If you ever get down this way let me know. Always looking for fellow herfers.

I celebrate the equinox by marking another year on the planet...this one qualifies me for a retirement benefit from a former employer. I graduated high school in Corpus many high noons ago...sailed the bay nights in an open sloop the naval air station kept docked at the jetties...last time I was in Corpus was a job interview a few years back. Didn't get it. Ended up in Houston instead.

There's certainly more to do in Houston (The Big Onion), but I like the laid back pace of life down here. Traffic is nothing compared to H, so I laugh when the natives complain. I actually grew up in Bay City, that notable s#@%hole of a town.

If the wolfbane blooms tonight and the full moon grows bright, this town is in trouble, even though I am pure of heart and say my prayers at night

I will trapse around in my pudding suit in my back yard while tossing rabbits on the roof whilst smoking a perdomo2 maduro rhombus then a La Perla Black Pearl. Drinking Dog Fish Head India Brown Ale and whiskey. Where I awake, nobody knows.

wow, a lot of Texans here. I'm in Cypress (north of Houston). I celebrate the solstice in the light of the full moon at the coast. We get naked and swat mosquitoes with tennis racquets. Much like Mr. Mean and his humming birds. The skeeeters glow in the dark of the full moon during the solstice. Barry

Good to see so many Texans on board. A Laredo native myself and college at A&I in Kingsville. Long live Texas and cuban Cohibas.
