Crack driver window 1-1.5 inches. Nothing else is open.
Set heat or A/C to "fresh intake", not recirculate.
Put the fan speed on 2-3, select upper vents, (NOT defrost, or any combination...dunno about the floor registers, that may work too) and point the registers toward the floor, but still open.
All this will create a higher cabin pressure that will urge all the smoke to the single point of escape.
Keep the stick near the window once lit.
I have the Csonka Automotive air purifier running all the time the car is running. Works GREAT.
Occasionally, I frebreze the car and let it air in the breeze.
That's it...I burn 2-4 a month in the car, and there is hardly ever a whiff of it in the upholstery.
Works for me, I am sure someone else here may have a different method.
I do pretty much the same thing, Watchurai has it right, the idea is to have positive pressure in your cabin. Window cracked maybe 1/2'' for me because I don't ash out the window and I do have the vent shades. I use one of those Bobken car ashtrays made just for cigars, it has a hook to catch on the window slot. You are able to even set your cigar down as it has a small rest for it. The ashes fall through a small hole and immediately snuffs out anything burning.
I enjoy a cigar everyday going to and coming from work, 45 minute commute. My truck may smell a bit, if someone else got in they might notice it but I don't. I have it detailed twice a year so it seems fine.
Been doing this for years, should work for ya.
