Reflect on the passing of Darryl Kile. Died at 33 leaving behind a wife and 3 kids. Darryl pitched started his career with the Astros, then moved on to the Rockies, and lastly with the Cardinals. He will be missed.

I have 3 sons in their early 30's, one of them almost exactly Kie's age ... Mean, I couldn't agree with you more. Very nicely said.

Truly a shame. Kile was one of those guys you never heard anything bad said of him. Baseball lost a good guy.

It always happens to the good guys of the sports world! He was a great teammate and family man and will be missed by all in MLB. Charlie

He and his family had just moved about 3 miles up the road from me...was looking forward to having such a great guy in the neighborhood.

Coincidentally, our late Padres Mike Darr was from the same hometown as him...I have a family member associated with the Padres organization who was VERY close to Darr...

It's always so sad to hear of one of the great ones that is gone to soon...
