Hopefully I can get the pic up!
Wife and I are staying here in Downtown Nashville next to Printer's Alley, so I explained a little about how it was back in the 70's. Tootsie's Orchid Lounge was a topless bar, etc.
Tootsie's is now in the airport and a nice up-n-coming bar on Broadway.

On Printer's Alley:
1st business North of Church St downtown is now The Brass Stables has a stand up wooden sign in front, big letters NUDE KARAOKE. We weren't in the mood to meddle, but with a couple more days here, and my method of info gathering, gonna have to look into what they mean, no pun intended, hehe.

Anyone else know of such?

Back later w/update, maybe a pic.

We ate at BB's a couple nights ago, Demos' last night, then we walked around awhile, she even went up stairs to The Wheel Cigar Bar with me, what a sport, I really do have a Treasure.
We hit the Big River grille and Brew works on Broadway, that 3-4 block stretch is much different now than even 20 yrs ago.

I been eating cheap at a little grill under a parking garage next door, my sister goes to the Opryland for the Christmas show/decorations, really nice in the Arboretum. We haven't gone this time, never had breakfast there.
They even have an area next to the hotel with a Winter Wonderland, Ice sculptures, etc. Indoors, pay to ride a little train, ice rink, etc

Nashville is full of those ,just like LA, a dime a dozen, many have no business singing, so yeah may be the only way some get to "sing",hehe.

The valets here have heard the waitresses are topless and do the Karaoke? I think I'll just go tomorrow and ask 'em what the Tuesday night deal is about.

I'm only 2-1/2 hrs west on I-40, about 15 minutes north of Jackson, I know the area here well, maybe my fusion surgeries are healed by then, I'm free, I would run over for a meet-up, found some great shops for that while here.

I think the audience is supposed to be nude. You know… the old saying that when getting up in front of a group of people, just imagine them nude.

There they just take it literally.

We run into "so called famous people" all the time, the best was when I was cutting up with Pamela Anderson when she was running with Kid Rock.He and Hank Jr. have places about an hour from my place, brother-in-law was the one Hank Jr. always wanted surveying his properties. They feel a little more famous after meeting me, and I never give them my autograph. Never want there's either, hehe.

OMG, so many bands on this 4 block strip, unbelievable. This is where everyone comes instead of LA, now.
All the places are on 2nd or Broadway, or just off. Printer's Alley is back to topless, etc. evidently.

That was where the Opryland Amusement Park sat many, many, many years ago. Once when I was a kid, my family was there and a big rain storm came and just about everyone left the park. Most of the rides were empty to the point of where when you finished the ride, you could walk around the corner and get right back on again. We rode the log flume fifteen times in a row with out having to stand in line. Good times.
