Got a sampler from these clowns and have so far been sorely disappointed. Just proves to me big bucks do not necessarily make a good smoke. I have had GyV from the gas station that taste better than these things. Anybody got a favorite Rat Sherman to recommend? Got 4 of the 8 left and I am hoping to get at least 1 decent out of the bunch. Sorry for the rant, Aberdeen set me off with the CA thing! LOL:-)

Which lines have you smoked? and which do you have left? I would not compare Nats to GyVs, hope you were exagerating a little. I have smoked the manhattan line and the VIP line and from what I can remember they were a good smoke. The VIP being milder and the Manhattan much fuller. Both burned extremely well. Each line is a different blend and the tastes are very different. Are they worth the money? well...I don't have any in my humidor but they are not the easiest cigar to find either, especially at a decent price.

I bought a box of the VIP line recently and found to burn very even, good construction and mild. At $80/box, I think I paid way more than they are worth considering what I could have gotten on CB.

So far I have tried the Gotham, Exchange, VIP and Host line. I have left The Manhattan, Metropolitan, Landmark and City Desk. VIP has been the best so far, although I would not go out of my way to obtain it. All have burned well and they appear to be quality construction. It is just that IMO they taste like crap! Sorry Nat, but no can do.

I agree that Nat Sherman's aren't very impressive. I had a Maduro Robusto. It was decent, but nothing great. For the price there are many other cigars to choose from.
