Didn't save much over retail, but, the 'gar has such an unusual shape I just had to have it. Still dreaming of those Pimp Stix! I have to admit I have a "thing" for those figurados/perfectos whatever you wanna call them.

The 'double torpedo' is the classic shape of the 20's and 30's, very popular then ... and it is becoming popular again. It's one of my favorite shapes also ...

I call them 'Daffy Duck' cigars ...

Congrats, They are known to be a very good smoke. But its amusing to hear something that is shaped like a "cigar" called a funny shape. I have had some shorter cigars in this shape and they are easy to light and they burn evenly because of the shape. Enjoy it.

The Odyssey IS an awesome smoke! It's the closest thing to an ISOM that I've had. In my book, it's a "10"

That's like comparing apples to oranges ...

I've had many cigars that were from the Dominican Republic, Nicaragua, etc. that were far superior to Cuban cigars. Don't get me wrong, there are some Cuban cigars that no other cigar can hold a candle to ... but I've actually discovered that there are a lot of better tasting cigars out there that are easier to come by!

It's a great smoke IMHO. Starts out smooth then gets real powerful as you get to the middle. I had the opportunity to meet with the son of the Ozenger family, ( I assume you know that CAO is the initials of the company founder) and he told me that with the Odyssey, they fold the cigar leafs in half and all of the tips of the leafs are in the middle. The tips have the most flavor, so you have "double the power. A really unique cigar, I have 1-2 saved. You shoudl enjoy it.
