I had no clue this was happening. Can't say I care much either. Busy rearranging deck chairs on this Titanic.

Think

Brought back memories- I call 'em Rick moments- of when I was a child living in the tropics. Despite being Madrid- born, I am at least a 3rd generation American on one side of my parents. The other side is lineage direct to Barcelona. That didn't keep me from being a good little fascist as I saluted & repeatedly sang along with the radio: Viva Franco, Viva España, Arriba Franco, Arriba España standing on the hump of my abuelo's '58 moving Buick.

...and to think that I now have communist friends.BigGrin

No, he was a grown man when I was about 4... but we both were able stand inside a Buick with an inch or two to spare.

I think my grandpa may have spray painted him black and used him as a lawn ornament. Does he like to fish or ride horses?

who? abuelo or Rick? You bored?

Ok, I'll answer on behalf of my granpa. I think Rick shops plastic shoes for fun. Granpa owned several farms with happy tenant farmers like Drafter that tended horses, goats, and other livestock but aside from bowling and swimming (and beating my father as a child), he never really had any fun. He always wore a panama hat and seersucker suit- very natty- and was kind to his negros who worked the land.

I hope this answers your questions.

LMAO!

Yes, you do. You must be a real treat to live with. Your wife must cry tears of gratitude as she pounds the floor screaming, er, praying every night. Mellow

That TW can sure make me chuckle sometimes.

Sorry for the threadjack, Mr. Godzilla.
Shame about poor Cataluña. I enjoyed tapas & jamon serrano with day old bread there. Pray
