The economy, in and of itself, will be the determining factor for Obama's re-election bid. It is, in my mind, just a matter of economic forecasting, the unemployment rate and whether people "feel" the economy is improved.

Bush I lost re-election because the forecast for the economic turnaround that definitely occurred, took six months longer to occur than it was forecast to...
