Romney should get another good boost in the polls this week.
Romney is doing well, but not that well. Arguing with the moderator repeatedly and not stopping when she says to- does not look good. Turning the floor over to Obama during Romney's two minutes was a mistake that allowed Obama the appearance of domination for about a minute.
Now, Obama isn't that great either. He isn't succinct enough or presenting ideas point by point. And, neither have started their two minute period directly answering the questions with a "yes" or "no"- then rambling on...
Obama has a slight built in edge. Any performance noticeably better than last time will be seen as a good thing. I don't think Obama needs to blow Romney away to get a bump. I think he just needs to show he is not the lump he was in the first debate. My analysis is that a dead-tie tonight would actually help Obama in greater proportion than one would ordinarily think. But, it still wouldn't be a decisive amount.
(LOL! I once thought I wanted to be a poly sci major)
