took to Facebook today to decry President Obama's response to the
Benghazi consulate attack: "The White House and State Department
knew that an Islamic terrorist group with ties to al Qaeda claimed credit
for the attack. ... Why the lies? Why the cover up? ...

President Obama's shuck and jive shtick with these Benghazi lies must end."
Maybe Palin was just looking for something that roughly rhymed with "lies" —
but we're guessing she was entirely aware of the racist overtones of the phrase
"shuck and jive" and was quite content to invoke them. Or maybe she's just going
After Alaska's Jewish vote with "shtick." In that case: l'chaim! [Source]

When Palin begins her canned shpiel these days, I zone out. I don't know what makes her so horrifyingly boring. Perhaps it's because she's neither dumb nor particularly bright. Karl Rove has the same effect on me but only because he's so predictable. ****** Morris is by far the most interesting Republican pundit IMO.

Biden on the other hand, is probably the dumbest man elected to office. Right up there with that elected black guy who thought an island could tip over if the weight was not balanced.

In an amazing video from a House Armed Services Committee, Congressman Hank Johnson (D-GA) worries that Guam may tip over if the military sends more troops to be stationed there. He says: “My fear is that the whole island will become so overly populated that it will tip over and capsize.” Give credit to Admiral Robert Willard, Commander of the Navy’s Pacific Fleet, for keeping his composure, saying “We don’t anticipate that.”

“Like other islands, Guam is attached to the sea floor, which makes it extremely unlikely that it will tip over, even if there are lots and lots of people on it.”

What doesn’t make this a laughing matter is that this committee discussion has real military policy implications. And the Admiral has to point out to Congressman Johnson in the video, that Guam “is part of our nation.”
