I'm continually amazed that anybody thinks that some pencil neck doofus in Washington can be trusted to spend their money more wisely than they can.

Come to think of it, wisely or not your money is your money. Spend it wisely, give it away to charity, p*$$ it away on hookers and hashish...it's your money. You earned it. You should be able to do with it whatever you want. All of it.

Those were emergency lighting & debris removal kits and at $495 each they were a bargain to FEMA

Really? Really? Thought it would be unnecessary to go on about the many other tax funded infrastructure and services the I don't want no stinking taxes crowd apparently has no issue with using but don't want to pay for. You already know what they are captain obvious.

You hit the nail on the head.

Between Federal, State and Local taxes they already get 50%
of our money, and waste at least 10% of it. I need the rest.

The gov't needs to live within its budget.
Oh, yeah, they don't have one for the past 3 yrs.
