I'm cutting back and.....

.....you may want to also!

I'm going to bite the bullet. President Obama ordered the cabinet to cut $100,000,000.00 ($100 million) from the $3,500,000,000,000.00 ($3.5 trillion) federal budget. I'm so impressed by this sacrifice that I have decided to do the same thing with my personal budget. I spend about $2,000 a month on groceries, household expenses, medicine, utilities, etc., but it's time to get out the budget cutting axe, go through my expenses, and cut back. I'm going to cut my spending at exactly the same ratio (1/35,000) of my total budget. After doing the math, it looks like instead of spending $2,000 a month, I'm going to have to cut that number by six cents. Yes, I'm going to have to get by with $1999.94, but that's what sacrifice is all about. I'll just have to do without some things, that are, frankly, luxuries – six cents worth.

Did this President actually think no one would do the math? Please send this to everyone you know so people understand how idiotic a $100 million cut is in a $3.5 trillion budget – ludicrous!!!!!!!

Already done look at our currency.

The NWO is hoping to keep sheep at bay long enough to make an overwhelming number dependent, drugged and imprisoned before pitchforks and torches come out.

I laugh at the meaninglessness of stuff like this.

Guess $100 million just isn't what it used to be.

Sadly, when you put things into perspective, as the OP has, it is not laughable.

To further put things into perspective, looking at a few American military aircraft costs.

F-18 Hornet cost $94 million.

F-22 Raptor $350 million.

B-2 Spirit $2.4 billion.

Yup! $100 Million, ain't what it used to be at all. Heck, the top 10 most expensive privately owned yachts in the world all cost over $100 million.

Your comment is fairly right (as in correct, not the political spectrum- LOL!). I have just become numb to this norm over the years. It's all bullchit no matter who is President and who controls the Legislature. That doesn't mean it is acceptable to me, just that I don't feel it is worth getting upset over because it isn't going to change IMO. Others see it all differently...

Yep, it's the ''becoming numb to to this'' that is disturbing.

Obama isn't good with Math beyond 7th grade level, by his own admission.
Maybe that's why we don't have a budget these past 3-4 yrs.

Loony Libs apply this kind of phony analysis/logic to many 'issues', like
global warming, ballot counting, healthcare costs, etc. DC can't accurately
estimate the cost of anything, because the pork barrel can always be
refilled, unfortunately... from taxpayer's pockets and Fed printing presses.
'Pork' causes prices of anything DC wants to rise significantly over the public
sector prices. Can you say $600 toilet seats and hammers?

I say go over the cliff, and do some real cuts to gov't overall. 15% across
the board is a good start. Then, listen to the pigs squeal!

Oh yeah...

Merry Christmas, everyone!

Better get it quick then, before we all are spending $10,000 for a loaf of bread. Think 'it can't happen here'? The Zimbabwean dollar was actually worth more than the US dollar not so many years ago. Now you can buy their nearly worthless 100 trillion dollar notes on eBay for a couple of bucks.

Anyway...Merry Christmas and a safe, healthy, and Happy New Year to all !

Becoming numb to the lies is disturbing to me. Why should we accept this as the norm ? We elect them to serve US, not to feed us lie after lie, day after day. Seems they forget this as soon as they are sworn in.
