I have heard nothing about a RIF yet, but that should be interesting since when I started in 1995 there were 16 people in our office and we now have 9 (1 just retired) with 2 more retiring this year. So RIF away and if not it will still be an interesting year.

Well we've been lead by headless chickens who run top heavy the last two years. Micro managing on a macro scale.

Gonna be an interesting year, and time to retrain.

I have 2 years, 10 months and 10 days to go for my target date but could leave now if I had to.

Maybe get into politics, seems easy enough and no retraining needed. LOL

Then again maybe not, would have to take training on how to lie with a straight face.

To all those retiring- where's the magical, never-ending revenue for your pensions going to generate from- Ponce de Leon's fountain of cash?

Spoke to my inlaws in Europe and those "guaranteed for life" retirement pensions (Government AND private) have been cut in half.

Well no immediate RIF.

This new plan is gonna save money and enable growth (ahem ahem) like always.....

Our company would never do undercover boss, too embarrassing for those who never accept blame. Guess retraining will wait bit I'm seriously going to look into grants for school.

Screw that! Don't move to North Dakota. We don't want any more out of state riff raff here. Be a deadbeat loser in your own state.

Just for that, I'm knocking out a front toof, donning a pair of dirty bib coveralls, scratching my ass, sneaking in, & stealing a job.

LOL- You know, I still have a little Humphrey Bogart thing going on with nerve damage in my upper lip area. My mouth just doesn't feel the same.

To those of you who wonder what Drafter means- last year I ran through a "green" rail post face first & lost a tooth in my quest to score a TD against 12 yr olds.Brick wall
That's the type of competitor I am. (puffing chest out w/pride)
