At a cost of $1.6 million, Obama will fly to Vegas to give a speech about immigration, and then fly right back to DC.

What is with his infatuation with Vegas, and why can't the speech be given at the White House (?)

Brother... why can you not come up with a defense for our new president?

Your "Yeah, but Bush did this" makes you sound like a five year old screaming "He started it!" Just saying...

As to the original question: Wheel prolly nailed it. If he's there in March I'm gonna tell him to kiss my retired Navy ass in person. Calling him a douche would be an insult to douches. They're at least useful.

I know the old thing of justifying bad behavior with examples of other folks bad behavior. Problem is, they complained about Bush at the time, but somehow now, that huge waste of cash makes sense.Think

I am excited for the posts 3 years, 11 months from now when we're doing the "yeah, but Bush did this 16 years ago ..."

Well, that, and you have to go skeet shooting, of course. He loves him some guns. In fact, he held the state record in Hawaii for the largest plains buffalo killed with a muzzleloader for many, many years. Jay Carney told me, so it must be true. "These are not the droids you are looking for".Shame on you

Like you've never been there, got drunk at a slot machine, lost your hotel money at blackjack, got rolled by a toothless hooker, and spent the night at the greyhound station asking the hobos for a pull off of their juice bottle.

What's not to love?

There must be a gun show in Vegas he wanted to attend. Needed to stock up on shells for his semi automatic shotgun.
