As I complete my post barrage for the night, I thought I might give an opinion on the above. Puros Indios/Cuba Aliados has been in my weekly rotation for the last four years so I know a bit about these cigars. The Reserva is a more potent version, and to me that isn't necessarily better. Too much of a good thing in this case doesn't work. And by halfway, whatever flavor there was just gave out to harshness and started to give me a headache. I put the other four I won in a box of other Puros Indios and maybe they will get better, can't say enough for the construction and appearance though. Now my pick is the Fittipaldi Cameroon. I have smoked three out of a box I won a year ago, and normally I smoke 2/3rds of a cigar, but this one I smoked until my hands got burn blisters, it never went south, the flavor got more intense and strong, but never harsh! And I will say flat out, these are the best cigars with cameroon wrappers I have ever smoked, yes I dare say it, better than Perdomo2. The only size I smoked is the torpedo size, can't lay claims about the other sizes, but I would bid on these as you can get them cheap. I don't know how much a year of aging has helped this cigar,as that is how long I waited to start smoking them, so maybe ones smoked at time of purchase may not be as good. I know I haven't posted in a while, but hopefully I can contribute more often. I finally got my cigars out of all the humidors and just use my cabinet now, I celebrated that by winning four boxes of cigars last week.

Abs, welcome back! Since I too enjoy the PI's I would imagine our tastes are somewhat similar. I will have to give the Fit's Cammys a try. I actually like the little Fittipaldi Maduros I got a while back. Good construction (which I'm a sucker for) and a tasty wrapper. The filler isn't award winning, but it doesn't detract from the wrappers attributes. As for the PI Reserve, I've not yet heard of those. I'll keep my eyes peeled.

I smoked one last night. Lasted over an hour and still had some left over for today. Burned great, perfect draw, and a gorgeous wrapper. my tongue got numb and reminded me of menthol! Still, it has that distinctive Puros Indios flavor. I would not say it was full bodied but it does have more body than the regular line. I would recommend this smoke. Just don't go crazy on the bidding. I may need a few more!

I agree on the wrapper and construction and perfect draw, but the one I had turned very bad after half way, but over the years I have had a love hate relationship with PI, I keep coming back as when I get a good one, little is better, so maybe the next Reserva will be better. I have been working all day, babysitting our two kids at night while my wife works, and then working again on my website/email after the kids go to bed, and then and only then having a cigar and liquid refreshment before retiring. I have a bit more spare time at present, but it has been a chore managing it.

Well I may not be as regular here on the boards as Aunt Flo, but I would never stop smoking cigars! Some time back I was asking for help in finding a Caprice police car, well I did get that, a real beaut, if you want to see it go to www.aberdeenbookstore.com and scan to the bottom of the home page. How is you tobacco refreshment coming along? What are your favorites now? I hope you didn't spend a lot of money on cigars that I suggested and then ended up hating them!

Tom, I remember when you were looking for that car. Glad you found one. Wife still giving you a hard time about your cigars? I recall some discussion about keeping spouses happy vs. keeping a steady cigar stash on hand. Your input has been missed around here. Now, back to toasted stomach acid or whatever was your favorite topic of discussion.

I found this Caprice about a week after 9-11, and I still had a sick feeling in my stomach, so wasn't so excited about it as I might normally be. Luckily I ended up finding the car locally, and bought it from someone who took fanatical care after the car after buying it at a police auction. I have the complete records for its maintaining for the last 6 years. The prior owner even put in new seat covers in the back and sheepskin covers in the front seats. The seats are big and lush. I asked a retired cop why these cars had such big and comfortable seats and he told me that the cops in the 80's were fat and needed the extra large seats. I am happy to report my wife hasn't mentioned my cigar habit in quite some time, I am hoping she has finally given up all efforts to have me cease the habit.
